Motivation

The goal of this application is to make things easier for students, class representatives, and teachers to manage class activities. Using this platform all the class lectures, books, and assignments are categorized in respective semesters and courses.

Outline

This project was developed as a simple static website using just HTML, CSS in early 2017 and later upgraded to a full-blown student portal with rich backend to add, update, and manage lectures, assignments, and other class activities. You can easily download the course lectures, books in PDF format or even view the books online anytime from anywhere in any device without downloading it.

The application is first deployed to GoDaddy servers and then moved to 000WebHost. Both the design of the application and back-end services are made by me. The application took me about 1 month to be developed and deployed.

Tech Review

• The application is fully responsive.
• It can be easily deployed to Apache / Nginx Web Servers.
• Remote MySQL Database is required.
• Implements Authentication and Authorization.
• The dashboard is a Single Page Application where admins can add courses, upload lectures, books, and other classwork.
